Along with compelling premieres, the Denver Film Festival will focus on Polish cinema.

"As a festival we're here to bring the best of world cinema and explore all sorts of different viewpoints, and sometimes challenge you a bit," said Britta Erickson with the Denver Film Festival.

The Denver Film Festival runs for 12 days.
