Denver Film Fest Kicks Off Wednesday
DENVER (CBS4)- The 39th Annual Denver Film Festival kicks off Wednesday and this year music is one of the themes.
The musical movie "La La Land" is the opening night red carpet feature film. The film stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling as artists living in LA, falling in love and trying to make a living.
Music lovers can get much more throughout the 10 day festival with nearly 250 films and music videos.
"We've got our annual mix tape section with his music video which we added a few years ago, which has been very popular and we have some great local music videos in that package," said Denver Film Festival director Britta Erickson.
The Denver Film Society hosts the Denver Film Festival from Nov. 2-13 as part of Denver Arts Week. Get more information at denverfilmfestival.denverfilm.org.
