Denver Day Of Rock Benefits Health & Education Of Kids

DENVER (CBS4) - A one-day music festival in Denver benefits the health and education of kids and is happening in two weeks.

Denver Day of Rock is a free, family-friendly event downtown taking place on Saturday, May 28. Rachel Hijar with Amp the Cause stopped by CBS4 studios to talk about the event.

There will be five stages along the 16th Street Mall.

"There are 25 bands that will be playing on the five stages," Hijar said. "There are also food trucks, it's family friendly, there are face painters."

More than 200 volunteers will assist in Denver Day of Rock.

Approximately 100,000 people are expected to attend.
