Denver Cutthroats Season Comes To A Close

DENVER (CBS4) – The Denver Cutthroats celebrated another successful season on Monday.

The hockey team made it all the way to the finals in only their second season.

They eventually lost to Allen Americans in five games in the Central Hockey League's Ray Miron President's Cup Finals.

Head Coach Derek Armstrong told CBS4 he was proud of his team, although he said he "wanted to win the whole thing."

"The Cutthroats organization has done a good job, the players have done a good job. The owners have done a good job," Armstrong said. "Obviously we're going to try and build off this.
