Denver City Council Takes On Buckley Annex Redevelopment In Lowry

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver City Council Monday evening will discuss a plan to redevelop the old Buckley Annex in Lowry.

The area is located near 1st Avenue and Quebec Street where developers want to build apartments that would be five stories tall. That doesn't sit well with some people who live in the area.

The overall development would be 800 housing units with 120 of them being single-family homes.

The city council meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. People both for and against the project are expected to be at the meeting.
