Broncos Sign Rookie LB Darnell Sankey, Waive Long Snapper Nathan Theus
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - The Denver Broncos signed rookie linebacker Darnell Sankey and waived rookie long snapper Nathan Theus, the team announced on Tuesday.
According to a prepared new released, "Sankey played 43 career games at Sacramento State University, totaling 330 tackles (124 solo), 12.5 sacks (94 yds.), 27.5 tackles for a loss, one interception (59 yds.), nine passes defensed, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries."

Sankey was named a first-team All-Big Sky Conference selection as a senior last season.
