Denver Animal Shelter Limits Services To Prevent Illness From Spreading

DENVER (CBS4)- The Denver Animal Shelter is limited its services to prevent an illness from spreading.

An upper respiratory illness is affecting several dogs living at the shelter.

Because of the illness, the Denver Animal Shelter is offering limited services throughout the weekend.

The shelter is not taking in any stray dogs, will not offer vaccines or microchip services. The shelter also will not adopt out animals until Tuesday.

Anyone who finds a stray dog is asked to take the animal to the Aurora Animal Shelter.
