Demaryius Thomas Breaks Broncos Franchise Playoffs Receptions Record

DENVER (CBS4) - Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas broke the Broncos franchise record for postseason receptions during the Broncos playoff win on Sunday against the Steelers.

Thomas now has 50 career catches in the playoffs. His 50th catch came early in the fourth quarter during the Steelers-Broncos playoff game on Sunday.

He moves past Rod Smith, who had 49 career postseason receptions in his career.

Shannon Sharpe had 47, Vance Johnson had 40 and Ed McCaffrey had 36.

Smith still stands at No. 1 for postseason receiving yards with 860. Thomas has 739.
