Deer Tangled In Sports Net In Black Forest Cut Free By Colorado Parks And Wildlife

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers had to tranquilize a deer to release it after becoming tangled in a sports net. The young buck became caught in the net in Black Forest in El Paso County.

The deer was so frantic to get out of the net, an officer had to tranquilize the animal to cut it free.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife said this is an example of how important it is to remove sports nets and hammocks after using them to help keep wildlife safe.
