Deadly Shooting Investigated at 21st And Champa

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are investigating a deadly shooting at 21st and Champa. The call came in to 911 about 4:30 a.m. Monday.
UPDATE: This incident is now being investigated as a homicide. Victim is an adult male with an apparent gun shot wound. Coroner will release cause of death and victim identity. No suspect info. Remains an active investigation.

Police told CBS4 that one person is dead in the shooting. The investigation is considered a homicide investigation.
The victim has not been identified.
Investigators do not believe there is a threat to the public. Some street surrounding the scene were blocked off to traffic and pedestrians during the investigation.
