Morning Commute Slowed After Man Hit By Train

DENVER (CBS4) - Commuters experienced major traffic delays heading into downtown Denver Tuesday morning, all due to a person who was hit by a train.

Police were called to the area of Cherokee Street and East Ohio Avenue just before 6 a.m.

A train was stopped on the tracks for the investigation for nearly three hours. During that time the freight train was blocking all lanes of southbound Kalamath Street, northbound Santa Fe Drive, and all of Alameda Avenue.
