Days Of Delays Expected After Contruction Equipment Damages Bridge

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - The right lane of eastbound Interstate 70 at 6th Avenue is closed because of bridge damage from an accident.
A piece of construction equipment on the back of a semi-truck hit the bridge Sunday night.
No one was hurt, but the accident took a chunk out of the bridge and concrete fell onto the road.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says the right lane of eastbound I-70 at 6th Ave. will likely remain closed for a week so repairs can be made.
They are telling drivers to expect big delays and choose alternate routes during the closure.
