Day At The Park Becomes Lifesaving Fire Rescue

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Two strangers became heroes in Colorado Springs after rescuing a man from a house fire. They were enjoying a Sunday in the park when they saw a nearby home on fire.

One man was able to escape from the house but his father was trapped inside.

"By that time the whole house was engulfed and I could see the dad inside the house. So I crawled in, got dad, and threw him out the front door," said one of the men.

"We did not know if it was going, at any moment, to explode," said the other man.
