Dangerous Trees Removed At Bear Creek Lake Park

DENVER (CBS4)- Dangerous trees were removed at Bear Creek Lake Park on Wednesday. The trees were nearly dead and recent strong winds toppled some of them.

The trees, mostly cottonwoods, were in bad shape after flooding in 2013 and again last year.

On Wednesday, wild land crews with West Metro Fire removed 70 potentially dangerous trees from the area.
