Dalai Lama To Visit University Of Colorado In June

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) — The Dalai Lama will visit the University of Colorado in Boulder this year after canceling a planned visit last year for medical reasons.

The university and the Tibetan Association of Colorado announced Monday that the visit has been rescheduled for June 23. Schedule details are still being worked out and tickets aren't available yet.

The Tibetan Buddhist leader had been set to visit Boulder in October but he canceled the trip after doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota advised him to rest. Recently, he told a crowd in Minnesota that he's been receiving treatment for prostate problems.
