Cuddyer Back In Lineup After Missing 2 Months

DENVER (AP) - The Colorado Rockies have activated reigning NL batting champ Michael Cuddyer from the disabled list after he missed more than two months with a fractured left shoulder.

He is in the starting lineup Saturday against the Cincinnati Reds. The veteran outfielder is hitting .317 this season.

Cuddyer led the NL with a .331 average last season.

The Rockies also recalled reliever Brooks Brown from Triple-A Colorado Springs. They placed right-hander Tommy Kahnle on the 15-day DL with right shoulder inflammation and sent infielder Ben Paulsen to Colorado Springs.

Left-hander Brett Anderson was transferred to the 60-day DL with a strained lower back.
