CU Police Investigate Death On Campus

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- University of Colorado campus police are investigating a death after a body was found on the Boulder campus on Saturday night.

The man's body was found about 8:40 p.m. Saturday outside the Bruce Curtis (Museum Collections) building on the west side of campus near Broadway and College.

CU Police spokesman Robert Axmacher told CBS4 news the man is a local 51-year-old transient and is not believed to be a CU student. The manner and cause of death will be determined by the coroner.

A message about the death investigation was transmitted to CU students on Saturday. Police said there is no indication of any threat to the community.
