CU Football Players Formally Charged In Theft Case

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Two University of Colorado football players accused of stealing items from a dorm room have been formally charged.

Nu'umoto 'N.J.' Falo and Donald 'Dino' Gordon appeared in court Thursday. Both Falo and Gordon have been formally charged with second-degree burglary, theft, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and second-degree trespassing.

Falo is a linebacker in his sophomore year and Gordon is a freshman running back. The team has suspended both players. Both have been suspended from team activities.

Falo and Gordon are roommates and are accused of stealing a prescription drug, laptop and other electronics from a dorm room. If convicted, they face up to 12 years in prison.
