CU-CSU Rivalry Heats Up In Advance Of Wednesday Night's Game

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The CU Buffaloes men's basketball team barely beat the CSU Rams in their annual matchup last year.

That game took place in Fort Collins, and the Rams are a different team now heading into the matchup at the Coors Events Center in Boulder Wednesday night.

"They're the best team that we've played up to this point in the season," CU coach Tad Boyle said. "They are better than Georgia. They are better than Wyoming. They are better than San Francisco. All those people wearing green -- they want to beat us, and they want to beat us bad."

Rams guard Daniel Bejarano predicted victory for his so-far undefeated team in an interview with CBS4.

"Obviously the football did what they had to do. The volleyball team did what they had to do, and now it's our turn," he said. "We're going to get a lot of attention after we win."
