CU-Boulder Tests Warning System In Preparation For Flood Season
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Wednesday and Thursday's snow was enough to have water running high in Boulder and the University of Colorado is preparing for the flood season by making sure a warning system is working.
CU officials on Thursday said the university would be testing the campus alert system, which sends alerts via text and email.
"Flood season begins April 1 and it's important that CU-Boulder students, faculty and staff know what to do in the event of flash flooding," Ryan Huff with CU said in a statement.
Monthly siren tests begin on Monday and continue on the first Monday of the month through August.
