CSU Stadium: Point System Will Determine Seating Priority

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- Colorado State University has decided how seating priority will be given for the new on-campus stadium. Ram Points will continue to be used to determine who will get the best seats.

Season ticket holders and donors will get the first choice of seats inside the new stadium on the CSU campus in Fort Collins using Ram Points.

The points from 2016 will be compiled to determine who will get the best seat selection when the stadium opens in 2017.

School officials also shared new artist renditions of the $238.5 million stadium which has 36,000 seats and a total capacity of 41,000. The stadium also features 22 suites and other premium seats.

Ram Points have been in place since 2009 and reward those who purchase tickets or donate money to the athletic department at CSU.

CSU's Athletic Director Joe Parker said CSU fans will get an improved experience at the new stadium regardless if they are season ticket holders or not.

"Greater access to restroom facilities, more circulation in concourse areas to move around the seating bowl, upgrades in the concession offerings, more access to concessions," said Parker.
