Rams Now Ranked In The Top 25 In Both Major Basketball Polls

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - The CSU Rams men's basketball team is back in the Top 25 in the nation's two major polls.

The Rams are 11-0, which is a first in the program's history. They are currently one of nine undefeated Division I teams across the country.

They are now ranked No. 24 in the AP Rankings and No. 25 in the Coaches Rankings.

Head coach Larry Eustachy's Rams were also ranked in the national polls for a few weeks in February 2013. Before that the team hadn't been ranked since the 1950s.

The Rams play Charleston Southern on Monday night at Moby Arena and have a chance to break the school record for the longest single-season winning streak.

CSU defeated the Denver Pioneers on Friday by a score of 85-84.

This is the first team CSU has had their men's football team and men's basketball team ranked in the Top 25 in the same season.
