Crews Search For Person Spotted Floating Down Boulder Creek

BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Crews are searching for a person in Boulder Creek after a citizen reported seeing someone in possible fishing gear floating down the creek Sunday afternoon.

According to Cmdr. Heidi Prentup with the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, the citizen spotted the person just before 4:30 p.m. in Boulder Canyon.

The person was last spotted in the Dome Rock area.

"Boulder County Sheriff's Office, Boulder Emergency Squad, Longmont Emergency Unit, and Fourmile Fire Protection District are responding," Prentup said in a statement.
