Crews Repair Water Main Break In Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Crews worked to repair a water main break in Aurora on Saturday morning that had some roads closed for several hours.

The break happened before 10 a.m. Saturday at East Quincy Avenue and South Genoa Street.

Crews closed the surrounding area at S. Flanders Street to S. Genoa Street. Those roads reopened at 4:40 p.m. Saturday.

Aurora Police tweeted about the closure.

Alternate routes around the closure were advised.

There was a 10-foot section of road with water bubbling up through the pavement from the break.

Crews worked to determine the exact location and cause of the break before they started repairs.
