Firefighters Rescue Multiple People From 3-Alarm Apartment Fire At Exposition And Havana In Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) -- Firefighters in Aurora rescued multiple people while battling a 3-alarm fire near East Exposition Avenue and South Havana Street, Aurora Fire tweeted just before 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Crews from Aurora Fire complete five ladder rescues. Four patients were assessed on the scene. One was transported to the hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

Thirty one apartments were impacted by fire, smoke and/or water damage. The Red Cross was helping people who were displaced.
