Men With Guns Rob Credit Union, Run Away
DENVER (CBS4)- The FBI has teamed up with law enforcement across the Denver metro area to search for two men who robbed a credit union and took off on Friday.
The Denver Police Department, Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating the robbery at the Public Service Credit Union located at 6901 E. Evans Ave.
The men walked into the credit union at 5 p.m. and robbed the tellers at gunpoint. They sped away. Both parties had weapons and should be considered extremely dangerous.
They used a stolen silver 4-door Jeep Cherokee that was recovered shortly after the robbery in the 1900 block of South Oneida Street.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 6-foot, 200-240 pounds, wearing a black jacket, black gloves with white on wrists, black baseball hat with white or silver symbol on the front, black mask, blue jeans and tennis shoes.
The second suspect is described as a male of unknown race, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot, 190 pounds, wearing a black jacket, black mask and dark pants.
