Motorcycle and RTD bus collide in Denver; motorcyclist taken to hospital

One person was taken to the hospital on Monday night with serious injuries after a collision in Denver between an RTD bus and a motorcycle.

That's according to the Denver Police Department, which said it happened on Federal Boulevard near West Illiff Avenue in the southwestern part of the city.

The department said the person who was seriously hurt was the motorcycle driver.

Federal Boulevard was closed in both directions after the crash.
