Denver City Council Approves Emergency Rental Assistance Program To Help Those Impacted By COVID

DENVER (CBS4)- The Denver City Council approved the Emergency Rental Assistance Program during its meeting on Monday night. It will provide a grant from the U.S. Department of Treasury for nearly $22 million.

That grant will help people who can't pay rent and utilities due to the pandemic. The city council is also looking at a $1 million contract to provide legal assistance during eviction proceedings.
