Boulder County Adopts New Framework After Colorado's COVID Dial Expires

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- The County of Boulder is on track to move to Level Blue on the COVID-19 dial on Friday. The Colorado COVID-19 dial will expire at the end of the week.

Instead, Boulder is adopting a new framework for the county. Boulder County will move to Level Blue if they can keep their positivity rate below 7.5% before then. The county will stay there for the next 30 days.

Then they may advance to Level Clear in mid-May if they have very low hospital admissions.
