Couple Develops Freight Train Warning Website

FORT COLLNS, Colo. (CBS4) - Two residents in Fort Collins created a new service to help drivers avoid freight trains.

Jim and Kathy Haselmaier their Train Alert website this week. It warns people when a train is about to hit major intersections in Loveland and Fort Collins.

The couple is able to track the trains by using a camera which is mounted on the side of their home next to the tracks. Their hope is more neighbors partner with them to follow more trains in the future.
