Couple Arrested After Student Brings Pot Brownies To Class

WELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Deputies arrested a couple in Weld County after they say a student showed up to school with marijuana-laced brownies.

The Greeley Tribune reports investigators responded to home of Sarabeth Wingate and her boyfriend, Gregory Deschner, in Johnstown and found 180 marijuana plants.

The couple only had a license to grow 24 plants for medicinal purposes.
