Costco Planned For Northeast Denver Development

DENVER (CBS4)- A new Costco is coming to Northeast Denver. The neighborhood has been determined to be a food desert in the past.
The new store will be part of the Flyway Development at the intersection of Memphis and Green Valley Ranch Boulevard.
The food desert categorization is a big reason why the Denver City Council approved the 32-acre retail space. The development is expected to host several other retailers and restaurants as well.
The Costco location is expected to open in Fall 2022.
