Corpse Flower Blooms At Denver Botanic Gardens

DENVER (CBS4) - A "corpse flower" has bloomed at Denver Botanic Gardens.
According to the gardens, the plant bloomed Friday night in the Marnie's Pavilion area. It's a rare occurrence in the plant world and notable for the foul odor the flower emits.

The flower is available for viewing (and smelling) from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
A year ago a similar Amorphophallus titanum plant bloomed at the gardens and drew more than 20,000 visitors in the few days it was in bloom. That flower was given the nickname Stinky, and this new flower is being referred to as Little Stinky by DBG staff.
