Coroner IDs Colorado Boy Killed In Nevada Dirt Bike Crash

BOULDER CITY, Nev. (AP) — Authorities have identified a 14-year-old Colorado boy who died after a crash involving his dirt bike and a truck south of Boulder City, Nev.

Clark County coroner's officials say Christian Hipsky-Stringer of Canon City was killed in the incident Thursday afternoon. An exact cause of death is pending.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Loy Hixson says the crash was reported on State Route 165 near Nelson's Landing. Hixson says the teen died at the scene.

Details about the circumstances of the crash weren't immediately released.
