Coroner: Death At Broomfield Home Was Homicide

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (AP) — The Adams County coroner's office says the death of a woman whose body was found in her Broomfield home was a homicide.

The Broomfield Enterprise reports 33-year-old Amalia Lopez De Mansilla was found dead Sunday after police were asked to check on her welfare.

Police Sgt. Steve Griebel says investigators know how the woman died but that information is not being released.

He says her death was the third homicide in Broomfield this year and the second in the city in as many months.
