Waffle House Employee Told Police He Was Shot After Confronting Customer About Face Mask

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- An employee with the Waffle House in Aurora claims he was shot after confronting a customer for not wearing a face mask.

He was attacked on Thursday night at the Waffle House on Mississippi Avenue west of Interstate 225 and rushed to the hospital.

The employee was released from the hospital and continues to recover at home.
