DIA 2nd Busiest Airport For Passenger Traffic In Nation

DENVER (CBS4)- Coloradans appear to be flying again. Last week, Denver International Airport was the second-busiest airport for passenger traffic going through TSA.

Only LAX ranked higher. On Thursday, TSA was projected to screen more than 20,000 passengers for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic started.

DIA says checkpoint traffic has been growing an average of 17% each week. Still, traffic is down nearly 78% compared to the same time last year.
