Controlled Burn Near Fowler Gets Out Of Hand, Threatens 2 Structures

FOWLER, Colo. (CBS4) - A controlled burn got out of hand Wednesday evening near the town of Fowler, about 40 miles east of Pueblo.

A hot spot reportedly flared up and spread the fire through a riverbed and grew to approximately 130 acres.

Two structures were at one time threatened by the fire but firefighters from nine agencies were able to contain the fire by Thursday morning.
