David Siegel was in town to attend the Men's Event of JEWISHColorado. During his visit Siegel was also scheduled to meet with officials at the governor's office. It comes a month after Gov. John Hickenlooper's visit to Tel Aviv.

The two regions are working to improve business relationships in a number of areas.

The consul general will head to Colorado Springs to take part in a project to develop that city into what's being called an "entrepreneurial center."
