2 Construction Workers Fall 40 Feet At Work Site
LONE TREE, Colo. (CBS4) - Two construction workers who were working on scaffolding fell and were hurt on Thursday morning.
The accident happened at 9980 Trainstation Circle just before 10 a.m.
Officials with South Metro Fire Rescue said the workers each fell 40 feet. They said firefighters responded to the scene and quickly came to their aid.
"Both patients actually fell really close to the street level. So our firefighters and paramedics were able to quickly get to them just feet from the truck, get them quickly into the ambulance," said South Metro Fire Rescue spokesman Eric Hurst.
Both people were taken to the hospital. Their injuries were described as being serious.
