Construction On I-270, I-225 Could Delay Weekend Travelers

DENVER (CBS4) - Interstate 270 will closed both Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night. The Interstate will be closed between Vasquez Boulevard and I-76 is so RTD can set girders on the North Metro Rail Line Skyway Bridge.

The northbound I-225 on and off ramps at Mississippi Avenue will close Friday, May 6th at 10 p.m. and remain closed until Sunday May 8th at 9 a.m. Use the ramps at Iliff or Alameda avenues as alternates.

Also a reminder that US-36 Express Lanes will be free Saturday, May 7th from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and then again from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. that evening. Plenary Roads Denver, the group who manages the express toll lanes say it is their gift to graduating students at CU Boulder and their families.
