Construction Begins For U.S.S. Colorado Submarine

QUONSET POINT. R.I. (CBS4) - Construction is underway for a submarine named after the state of Colorado.

The new U.S.S. Colorado will be a high-tech attack submarine. A keel laying ceremony in recently took place in Rhode Island and marked the official start of the construction.

This is the third Navy ship to bear the name Colorado.
