Colorado Wrestler Adeline Gray Headed To Rio Olympic Games

DENVER (AP) — Colorado wrestler Adeline Gray is headed to the Rio Games after winning the championship round at the U.S. Olympic Trials Sunday night in Iowa.

The 25-year-old three-time world champion beat Victoria Francis of Litchfield, Illinois in the best-of-three finals showdown.

Gray is a graduate of Bear Creek High School in Lakewood.

The Denver Post reports that Gray's rooting section in Iowa City included her parents, her three sisters and her boyfriend.
