Colorado Women Get 1st Pac-12 Win By Beating USC 66-63

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Haley Smith scored 18 points, Kennedy Leonard had 17 and Colorado won its first Pac-12 Conference game this season by beating USC 66-63 Sunday night.

Colorado led by as many as eight points in the third quarter, but USC's full-court press caused problems in the fourth. Colorado did not make its first field goal of the frame until the 6:07 mark when Leonard's layup gave the Buffaloes a 51-49 lead.

Aliyah Mazyck was left alone and hit a 3-pointer from the wing to pull USC to 61-58 with 36 seconds left. Colorado then missed its next two free throws, but Swan grabbed the offensive rebound and hit one from the line for a two-possession game with 18.7 seconds left.

Alexis Robinson scored 10 points to help Colorado (6-15, 1-9) snap a 10-game skid.

Temi Fagbenle had 17 points and 13 rebounds for USC (16-6, 4-6).
