Colorado Woman Cycling To Alaska To Raise Money For Nepal Quake Victims
DENVER (CBS4) - A Colorado woman kicked off a solo bike ride from Denver to Alaska all for a good cause.
Sarah Wilson is riding to raise money for the Colorado Nepal Alliance earthquake relief effort. The 24-year-old left Sunday afternoon on a journey that will take her about 3,600 miles.
"The big magnitude earthquake hit about four days after I decided to do this ride and it seemed like a really natural cause to support," Wilson said. "I figure as long as I'm riding as long as I am I might as well make it about something bigger than myself."
