Colorado Wildlife Biologists Assessing Big Game Herds From Above

PARK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Colorado Parks and Wildlife biologists are now assessing big game herds via helicopter. The flights started on Monday in Park and Fremont counties.

Officers say residents should not be alarmed to see low-flying helicopters in the area.

They are looking at elk, deer, moose and bighorn sheep.

Biologists will also fly over El Paso and Teller counties and throughout the state until early January.
