Colorado weather: Warming trend ramping up into the week

Saturday will be sunny to start with clouds increasing in the afternoon. Daytime temperatures will be in the mid-40s in the Denver metro area. In the mountains, daytime highs will be in the 30s with breezy conditions.  It will be windy in the foothills and mountains with wind gusts up to 50 to 60 miles per hour. Wind speeds will gradually decrease through tonight. 

Looking ahead to the second half of the weekend and into next week a quiet pattern will take hold. Sunday daytime highs will be in the upper 40s and low 50s with mostly sunny conditions. As we head into the first week of December, temperatures will be above normal with daytime highs close to 60 degrees by the middle of the week. Dry conditions are expected with mostly sunny skies through next weekend.
