More Storms With Hail & Heavy Rain Possible Wednesday

By Lauren Whitney
DENVER (CBS4) - Stormy weather could continue through the evening across the Front Range and eastern plains, with a few severe storms possible. These could produce larger hail and heavy rain in some areas. We've already had localized flooding in El Paso county and Severe Thunderstorm Warnings for the eastern plains.

Temperatures dropped to the upper 70s Tuesday after hitting the upper 80s on Monday. Wednesday we'll just a touch warmer with highs right around 80.

Wednesday could bring another round of severe storms to the foothills, front range, and parts of the plains. Once again, storms could produce heavy rain, gusty winds, and larger hail. Storms could start to fire up after the lunch hour.

More storms possible on Thursday as our temperatures climb. We'll be in the upper 80s by Thursday afternoon.

After that, get ready for a major warm up! We're heading to 90 degree temperatures for the first time since September! We'll be hot and toasty, and dry through the weekend. Stay cool!
