Colorado Voters Want More Substance, Less Shouting In 2nd Debate

DENVER (CBS4)- The upcoming debate on Sunday is a town hall with Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. This time, voters in Colorado want more substance and less shouting.
CBS4 morning anchor Britt Moreno recruited a diverse group of people and talked with them about what they would like to see.
The dozen included Trump and Clinton supporters as well as those with a third party. There are first time voters, unemployed, parents, and those who hope for what they call "a better America."
Voters told Moreno they are "frightened, apathetic, enthusiastic, worried and hopeful" about the upcoming debate. They find solace only when saying they learned very little from the last one. They all revealed they were frustrated with the candidates' behavior.
One woman said, "It's scary after seeing the last one. It doesn't give me a lot of confidence."
One man said, "I just don't trust them. Everyone wants to make America great again and help children, but I don't believe we are going to do it."
The group told Moreno they want Trump and Clinton to steer clear of personal attacks and focus on the larger issues.
