Fewer Coloradans Applied For Initial Unemployment Benefits Last Week

DENVER (CBS4)- There was a drop in initial unemployment claims in Colorado last week. More than 6,500 Coloradans filed for the first time.

More than 245,000 people filed for continued claims.

Since mid-March, when the pandemic began, the state has paid nearly $5 billion in unemployment benefits.
